With airport delays due to snowy conditions, freezing rain and a few more millimeters of liquid sunshine to fall this winter, how about cozying up in a warm pub with the BCHIMPS crew, friends and colleagues! A few of us are going to test out how a local brewpub is doing on their wine list, so we can really wine about the weather! CANOE Brewpub is looking to have their resident sommelier provide some tasting notes if possible, but we're pretty sure there are a few resident experts in the mix. BCHIMPS decided to pass on the early holiday mixer in lieu of a New Year get together, so we are looking forward to seeing everyone!
With the BCHIMPS Spring Conference just a couple months away, attendees will get a few snippets of the speakers on the slate and some of the topics that will be presented. We'll also be looking for some member participation on choosing the right panel topic to kick-start an educational, yet edgy, debate.
BCHIMPS socials have been growing! We had 15 people at the September Victoria social, and it was a great opportunity to meet other members, connect with board members, and network with other eHealth, HIM, and IT professionals. Open to all BCHIMPS members and those who are interested to learn what BCHIMPS is all about.
The February social may feature some sommelier sampling notes... stay tuned.
