eHITS Public Forum: Get Connected to Better Your Health!

Speakers are confirmed for the eHealth Innovation and Technology Showcase (eHITS) event. eHITS Public Forum is a free event hosted by the UBC Faculty of Medicine eHealth Strategy Office, in partnership with the Provincial Patients as Partners Committee and the e-Patient/eHealth Working Group.
The evening will be moderated by Dr Kendall Ho, Director of the eHealth Strategy Office, Faculty of Medicine, University of British Columbia. A panel of six speakers will be asked to discuss how technology, like mobile phones and computers connected to the internet, can be used to support health and wellness in British Columbia. The speakers have been selected to represent a diversity of viewpoints and experiences.
The audience will also be asked to join in on the conversation with a question/ discussion period, polling questions and live Twitter feed.
The forum is free and takes place on Nov. 19, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Alice MacKay Room on the Lower Level of the Vancouver Public Library (350 West Georgia Street), and will be webcasted live and tweeted out for anyone to join in!
